The diagram below illustrates the three sectors of the oil and gas industry, upstream, midstream and downstream. This Oil and Gas Project integrates elements from each sector of the industry. Most projects in the oil and gas industry address one or maybe two of the upstream, midstream or downstream sectors. For example, exploratory or development drilling is upstream; transportation is midstream; and refining and manufacturing is downstream. This Project is unusual in that it integrates all three, exploratory, transportation and manufacturing. The integrated project creates overlapping streams of revenues. This integration also results in a savings in transport costs among other savings. 

This Project plans for the development of a completely new community of project workers, service workers and their families in this sparsely populated State of North Dakota.
